Out of State Certification Fee Increase

Effective March 1, 2012, Out of State Certification (Pro Hac Vice) per case/per attorney fee will increase to $270.

New Payment Options for Certificate of Good Standing and Membership Cards......

The KBA now accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover for payment of on-line requests for Certificate of Good Standing and replacement Membership Cards.  ACH Debit (Electronic check) is also accepted.

The American Bar Association Releases Report on Kentucky’s Death Penalty Systems

KBA Task Force on the Provision and Compensation of Conflict Counsel for Indigents

At its Nov. 18, 2011 meeting, the KBA Board of Governors unanimously adopted a resolution endorsing findings and recommendations that request state leaders to immediately address and improve the system for representation of indigents in conflict cases.
