The Kentucky Bar Foundation, Inc. (KBF) has given over $2,000,000 since 1988 to agencies promoting justice and law-related education for Kentuckians.  The KBF has at times also developed its own projects toward this mission.  Foundation support has positively affected lives and the administration of justice through programs that include:

• educating children about law and the justice system
• helping teens-at-risk and children in court
• assisting abused women and children
• explaining legal issues and rights for the elderly
• helping to fight against nursing home abuse 
• providing law textbook recordings for the visually impaired 
• enhancing services to crime victims
• preserving legal history
