There is no charge for the New Lawyers' Program. However there is a charge for some of the optional convention events you may wish to attend. While the New Lawyers' Program is two days (Wednesday and Thursday), we encourage you to enjoy any of the Convention CLE Programs on Friday, also at no charge.
NLP Program Requirements:
The June Program is held in conjunction with the KBA Annual Convention. Day One is planned for you, however on Day Two, you'll choose from the Convention Programming.
- Day One (June 10) - Programming on this day will be held at the same facility as the KBA Annual Convention. Day One NLP programming is distinct from the Convention programming; you will attend alongside other new attorneys in a standalone room most of the day, with the exception of a Feature CLE program.
- Day Two (June 11) - you will choose programs of interest to you from any of the Convention programming taking place this day. You will need to attend programs totaling a minimum of 6 credit hours. You do not need to pre-register for the Day Two sessions you choose. For planning purposes you may click here for a list of programs with their credit hours.
Upon arrival at the program, please check in at the KBA registration desk. An agenda and informational sheet will be provided in your registration materials to help you choose the sessions you want to attend, and to track your attendance.

If you need to attend NLP in June and have not registered, you may use this direct link to the online registration.
On the third screen, you'll have the option to select "New Lawyers Program" from a dropdown menu. If you need a hotel room, you'll have the option to select that via a link later on in the registration process; you may also register for other optional events, such as the Young Lawyers Section luncheon.
Please note: If you had previously registered for this program and would now like to reserve a room at the KBA convention rate or register to attend any of the optional events, please use the PDF form, rather than the online, so that you will not be registered twice.
