The KBF Fellows Program recognizes those members of the Kentucky Bar who through their willingness to financially support the charitable endeavors related to the law have made a significant contribution to KBF's goals. The program is designed to build an endowment fund which will be the cornerstone for funding KBF's mission in future years. Accordingly, seventy-five percent of Fellows receipts are placed directly into the board designated KBF Endowment Fund for future grant-making while the remaining amount supports KBF's current grant programs and costs.
KBA members in good standing may become a Life Fellow through a one-time, lump-sum contribution of $1,250. Members may also become a Fellow through an initial contribution of $300 and a pledge to contribute an additional $1,200 over the next four years. Upon completion of their pledge, such Fellows will attain the status of Life Fellow. To commemorate their contributions, all new Fellows receive a lapel pin and certificate, and Life Fellows receive a lapel pin and a plaque. In addition, Fellows will continue to periodically receive invitations to activities hosted on their behalf.
You may become a KBF Fellow by completing the Fellows Application and mailing it with your contribution to the Kentucky Bar Foundation, 514 W. Main St., Frankfort, KY 40601-1812.
