Active member participation is essential to the success of any association. The KBA offers a variety of opportunities for you to become involved, including becoming a member of a section, or being appointed to a committee or task force committed to one of the bar’s diversified interests. The Kentucky Bar Association is governed by members elected by members. All members are eligible to run for positions on the Board of Governors, the KBA’s governing body.
The KBA Board of Governors consists of two representatives from each of the seven Supreme Court Districts who are elected by attorneys within their districts, and the officers of the association who run for election statewide. The members of the Board are vitally interested in the concerns of Kentucky lawyers and will welcome your call. Also serving on the Board is the chair of the Young Lawyers Section.
