As part of your annual dues renewal, you will have the option to join sections. There are annual dues for each section which will be added to your dues statement. You may also join at any time during the year, however dues are not pro-rated. If you join during the year without the dues notice, you may pay online with a credit card.
To join a section, select "My Dashboard" in the top right corner of the website. Locate and select the Join Sections/Divisions button on the left side of the dashboard. A list of available sections and divisions will display. Select your desired sections, then click "Add to cart” at the bottom right to proceed. Check out and complete the payment process.
Each July, the KBA Section Liaison provides all incoming section & YLD officers with a copy of the Section Officer Handbook. This handbook details relevant Supreme Court Rules, KBA by-laws and policies and procedures that apply in the execution of each section officer's duties. This handbook is designed to serve as a reference guide to help answer the questions that will arise during the bar year. A copy of the current Section & Division Officer Handbook is available here.
Forums are for section & YLD members only. Not a section member? See above for the list of available KBA sections and instructions on how to join online at any time.
