John Douglas ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13, John Douglas, FBI Investigative Support Unit founder and inspiration for the character Holden Ford in Netflix’s Mindhunter, will take attendees behind the television screen for a real-life look at the investigative techniques used for hunting serial killers, sex offenders and other violent offenders. Producer Amy Ziering will join us thereafter to discuss her documentary The Hunting Ground which is an expose of sexual assault on U.S college campuses, their institutional cover-ups, and the devastating toll they take on students and their families.
Graham Moore ON THURSDAY, JUNE 14, Oscar-winning screenwriter and New York Times best-selling author Graham Moore will speak. Moore won the 2015 Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Imitation Game. His latest best-selling novel The Last Days of Night, which looks at the battle between Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse over the lightbulb patent, will be in movie theaters soon. Thursday will also spotlight Philip K. Howard, attorney and best-selling author of The Death of Common Sense, The Collapse of the Common Good, Life without Lawyers, and The Rule of Nobody.
Lisa Bloom ON FRIDAY, JUNE 15, civil rights attorney Lisa Bloom, known for representing women whose sexual harassment claims precipitated the firing of Bill O’Reilly from Fox News, will discuss the #MeToo movement and it’s legal implications. Also in the lineup is Matt Jones, Kentucky attorney and host of “Hey Kentucky!” and “Kentucky Sports Radio,” who, along with a very knowledgeable panel, will join us to discuss the legal world of NCAA sports infractions.

We have an exceptional lineup - be sure to check out the convention brochure for more details!
