Having trouble viewing the KBA website?

Often, website issues arise from the machine on which the website is being accessed. Cookie settings, firewall settings, security/anti-virus software, etc. are just a few potential contributing factors to successfully viewing the KBA website. The steps below are used to troubleshoot many issues.

  • Check Multiple Browsers.

    Try a different browser (i.e. if you are encountering the issue in Internet Explorer, try to view the website in Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.). 
  • Check for browser updates.

    Ensure that your browser is up-to-date. The exact procedure depends on browser:
    • Firefox: Main Menu > Help >About Firefox
    • Chrome: Main Menu > About Google Chrome
    • Internet Explorer: Run Windows Update
  • Check on a different device.

    Use a different machine such as a home computer, work computer, or publicly accessible computer. This helps eliminate or identify a possible network factor.
  • Ensure your browser is not zoomed in or zoomed out.

    Zooming can often cause web objects to display out of alignment and give the appearance of an issue when there is none.
  • Check Firewall and Security/Anti-Virus Software Settings.

    Some functionality access may be blocked due to firewall settings or installed security/anti-virus software. Contact your network administrator about settings that could cause potential issues accessing the website.
  • If you are using Internet Explorer, make sure you are not running in Compatibility Mode (In Internet Explorer navigate to the Tools menu and ensure Compatibility View is not checked).
