2024 New Lawyer Program

  ABOUT THE NEW LAWYER PROGRAM


The New Lawyer Program (NLP) has been updated! New lawyers will complete one day of in-person training and a second day via on-demand programming.

The upcoming in person program will be held on May 9th in Covington in conjunction with the Annual Convention. The next in person program will be held in early 2025 (date to be determined).

The on-demand component can be accessed digitally via the link below.

To fulfill the New Lawyer Program requirement, attendees must earn a minimum of 12 CLE hours, 2 of which must be ethics hours. There is no charge for attorneys attending this program to fulfill this requirement, pursuant to SCR 3.640.

 

All new members are required to complete both parts unless granted an exemption.
