How to Join a Section

As part of your annual dues renewal, you will have the option to join sections. There are annual dues for each section which will be added to your dues statement.  You may also join at any time during the year, however dues are not pro-rated. If you join during the year without the dues notice, you may pay online with a credit card or make a check payable to the Kentucky Bar Association in the appropriate amount and include your name, bar identification number, mailing address, e-mail address and the section(s). Mail to:

Kentucky Bar Association
Accounting/Membership Department
514 West Main Street
Frankfort, KY 40601-1883

Section & Division Officer Handbook

Each July, the KBA Section Liaison provides all incoming section officers with a copy of the Section Officer Handbook. This handbook details relevant Supreme Court Rules, KBA by-laws and policies and procedures that apply in the execution of each section officer's duties. This handbook is designed to serve as a reference guide to help answer the questions that will arise during the bar year. A copy of the current Section & Division Officer Handbook is available here.

KBA Section & Division Forums

Forums are for section & YLD members only. Not a section member? See above for the list of available KBA sections and instructions on how to join online at any time.
